View Full Version : British Premiums

I'm not sure where I come down on these minis yet, but I figured I'd throw a hook out into eBay and see what I might find. My curiousity was aroused when I found two other premium figures in addition to the one that seemed only available at the Comic Con earlier this month. The two I found are a Tusken Raider (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2537&item=5911179818&rd=1) and a Mon Calamari (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2537&item=5911180121&rd=1). Interestingly, I only saw these two (although my search may not be quite inclusive enough) and only through a single seller based in Great Britain. So I beg the question of the much wiser collective minds (or a bunch of brainy individuals) that come together here at the Holonet: Are these really premiums? Can anyone shed any additional light on them?

I may be able to shed some light on this the are "promo" however the ONLY difference in the figures will be the label on th bottom of the figure. It is the same stat card, same paint job, same sculpt etc as the Mon Cal Merc that comes in Rebel Storm, as well as the Tusken raider, and the Ellite Storm trooper.

On the website i run there is a picture of the bottom of the Mon Cal Merc.
The only difference in this figure and the one in the boxes will be it doesn't say origins on the top line, it will.should have somehting like a little Stromtrooper helemet which is the set designator for Rebel Strom.

WotC has been VERY good so far in the Promo department of not making any Exclusive figures, ie, every promo figure will be avialabe in the exact same form in the set that it is promoting. with the only difference being he stamp on the bottom of the figure
