Ok, this drives me nuts.

Who wants to guess how to phoenetically (fenn-ett-ick-all-ee) spell my name?

My GM even replaces the "d" with an "r."

Let the competition start to see who can get it right!

Well, how I would do it is:

Dahrth kast

Seems simple to me, though I may be pronouncing it wrong.

Are you a "kast" or a "kas-sed"?

Ala Webster's:

Darth Cassed {daarth kas-sed} (plural Darth Casseds)

noun

(20th century. English. Name of this guy who posts here regularly.)

Given my background in phonetics and speech-language pathology, I'm going to guess:

Darth Ka'sId

where " ' " follows the syllable to be emphasized, "k" equals the "hard c" (as in "cat"), and "I" equals the "short i" (as in "sit").

Maybe I'm overthinking this...;)

I think you guys're putting WAAAY too much into this... It's easy, look I'll show you:

Darth Cassed : GEEK

The G makes a sound like it does in the word "get." Both of the E's make sounds like they do in the word "see." Finally, the K makes a sound like the c in the word "cat."

Sorry Cassed, couldn't resist myself... :)

The astounding similarities tween "Cassed" and "Cassette" I presume they're pronounce almost the same as well. :P

YAY! Thanks for the prize. I can't wait to show my wife the salad bowl you gave me along with the 2 week old mayo-drenched salad still in it.
