Once again, too freakin' sweet...

This line looks like it's going to knock the first one's socks off...

I suppose I'm glad that I don't need to worry about getting Clone Strike figs until November - it gives me a little while to finish the Rebel Storm set.

But I have to say that I like the CS figs better than I like anything else associated with Ep I so far...

This set looks like it might have more RPG potential than Rebel Storm did. I'd like to see more minis like the Rodian Mercenary, Weequay, and Naboo Guard.

For me personally, the minis are a chance to enhance the RPG experience, not a chance for me to play a separate minis game. :)

The Clone Strike stuff looks good, there are the previews at Wizards.com and there's something showing up here:

I must own that Clonetrooper Aerial Captain. It will be mine.

That is a cool figure! I'm hoping for some ARC troopers too.

Unfortunately several of the links on the page are screwed up--the link for the "sneak Peak" led to a Duel Masters article & another link led to a Buffy page on the site, for example.

Heh, yeah, I noticed that as well, Ris. Kind of bursts the bubble when you see a cool mini, and expect to see some sneak peeks into more, and you get something else entirely.

I can't wait for them to put the entire line up on the regular site, like they did with the current line.

I'm really excited by the great range of fringe characters that are appearing in all these sets. Case in point being this latest figure- a Gran (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=swminis/article/clonestrikepreview7). The more interesting aliens and supporting "non-named" characters they populate these ranges with, the better they are for the RPG- at least for my flavour of campaign anyways.

The newest figure appears to be an Ishi Tib Scout.

Check it out. http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=swminis/article/clonestrikepreview8

I'm with Rev. This sets looks to be more RPG friendly than Rebel Storm.

Is anyone else worried about power creep in this game?

Both Padame and the Arial Clone Trooper are great fiures, but they're way powerfull. If those two are representative of the entire Clone Strike set, Rebel Storm figs look like they may end up being unplayable.
