Will there be some kind of restriction about who gets to vote?

I, for example, have a few friends that would be interesting in submitting their votes, and I assume many others have also, so I'm posting here just in case you were thinking about some special voting restrictions.

Hi, no restrictions on voting. It's almost impossible to monitor anyway so I'm not going to bother. Frankly, the better response you can generate the better.

Get out there and promote the vote so we can get people involved. This is a great way to show the community things are rolling again. Besides, people love to participate.

Thanks,

The winner of the Starwars-rpg.net Re-Design Contest is:

Reverend Duck!

Each person sent in three votes, ranking their top three choices. The following is the ranking, based on highest number of "first place" votes. The numbers afterward, such as "4 2 3 (9)," mean 4 first place votes, 2 second place votes, 3 third place votes, and 9 total votes.

While the total seems like the number to be used, I selected the winner based on the number of first choice votes.

Reverend Duck - http://swsrc.starwars-rpg.net/reverend_homepage.jpg 12 5 6 (23)

I now direct the winner (Reverend) and runner up (PneumaZ) to email contest@starwars-rpg.net and notify if you prefer WEG or D20 books, along with your FULL MAILING ADDRESS. Depending on which, I will choose an assortment, post here which ones they are and send to you.

Finally, I want to thank each and every one of the entrants, as well as all who provided feedback to the designers. I realize this took a lot of work on the designer's part and I'm sure I speak on behalf of the community when saying THANK YOU for your time, your creativity, your contribution and your interest.

Nealos, any idea when you'll beable to get the rest of the past OJ's back up? I lost them a while back and had only downloaded Volume 2. Before I had the chance to get the other two newest volumes the site had gone down. Thanks for any info you can provide.

My best guess and response would be "soon, inside the month or two."

I'm currently involved in a job search, so my time is a tad taken right now. Best I can do is work away on getting the new design of the site live. After that, I'll be able to turn my focus on the journal and coordinate with the past/present staff.

Thanks,
