BTW you spelled concern wrong you drunk.

Don't be jealous, I workin on a way to hook you up as we speak ;)

Lastly I appreciate you for reposting the ship if nothing else.

I will be bringing you each in one at a time so as you see your entrance posted you may then reply, otherwise you will lose a pinky.

And the ships name will be the Original Sin

Your a scholar and a gentleman. I will send you back a Operation Iraqi Freedom something or other like a shotglass or t-shirt. I just got a Hard Rock Cafe Baghdad (close for repairs) shotglass

I think another one of Broks quirks will be calling the ship everything under the sun besides it's real name.

yes but my loving and benevolent nature got a hold of me and they were allowed to return.

actually one had computer issues and Psych was not a space suit tester. it was someone else. Brok just wanted to vent anyone taller than him.:D

Brok has plenty of feelings: Anger (has alot of that), then there is Greed (always important); Pride and a bunch of others that I can't think of right now. He has a total array of feelings that brings out the best in him. He's a people person why can't you people realize that!!!!!!

HEY I am the picture of social grace. I use (or something that resemble them) napkins and all sorts of frilly crap.
All my medications are prescripted to me by a authorized physician for injuries sustained through a career (althought short) defending everyone's rights. So if I take a flexiril to keep my back from cramping up in the middle of the night enough to almost make me crap myself then I will. (Bad night drop into Aphgani Country) Vallum coated Codine for the botched surgery to remove a little present that got imbeded in my lower back to spinal trama and yet I am over here again when I didn't have to as a civilian. I deserve my little slice of relief in a pill form.

Sorry for the rant whoever might be reading it. People messing with my sources leaves me irratable and now they lost my LOI (authorizes me to be in country) Someone is getting it today. I love Counterintelligence.

Eigth Level of Hell - the Malebolge

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Many and varied sinners suffer eternally in the multi-leveled Malebolge, an ampitheatre-shapped pit of despair Wholly of stone and of an iron colour: Those guilty of fraudulence and malice; the seducers and pimps, who are whipped by horned demons; the hypocrites, who struggle to walk in lead-lined cloaks; the barraters, who are ducked in boiling pitch by demons known as the Malebranche. The simonists, wedged into stone holes, and whose feet are licked by flames, kick and writhe desperately. The magicians, diviners, fortune tellers, and panderers are all here, as are the thieves. Some wallow in human excrement. Serpents writhe and wrap around men, sometimes fusing into each other. Bodies are torn apart. When you arrive, you will want to put your hands over your ears because of the lamentations of the sinners here, who are afflicted with scabs like leprosy, and lay sick on the ground, furiously scratching their skin off with their nails. Indeed, justice divine doth smite them with its hammer.

Just to illustrate Brok, he looks like a green version of the cellular commercials "Crazy Frog" with a greenish brown flight suit and pilots skull cap.

max ordo
29 September 2005, 10:55 AM
Good Job DP you scored as a Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers where I only score Violent

Seventh Level of Hell

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guarded by the Minotaur, who snarls in fury, and encircled within the river Phlegethon, filled with boiling blood, is the Seventh Level of Hell. The violent, the assasins, the tyrants, and the war-mongers lament their pitiless mischiefs in the river, while centaurs armed with bows and arrows shoot those who try to escape their punishment. The stench here is overpowering. This level is also home to the wood of the suicides- stunted and gnarled trees with twisting branches and poisoned fruit. At the time of final judgement, their bodies will hang from their branches. In those branches the Harpies, foul birdlike creatures with human faces, make their nests. Beyond the wood is scorching sand where those who committed violence against God and nature are showered with flakes of fire that rain down against their naked bodies. Blasphemers and sodomites writhe in pain, their tongues more loosed to lamentation, and out of their eyes gushes forth their woe. Usurers, who followed neither nature nor art, also share company in the Seventh Level.

SpaceyBH

I scored highest as a heritic (6th level) and second-highest as a seducer (8th level). Very High in both categories.

Well, DUH! Like I didn't know that stuff already.

Anyway, the joke's on them. I like the heat. :D

max ordo
29 September 2005, 11:38 AM
How can it be bad when it feels oh so good to do it. Besides a majority of the so called 'good' could care less who defends them as long as someone does. So DP think if we combined our scores we could make it to the ninth level. It sounds like a blast

Level 9 - Cocytus

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the deepest level of hell, where the fallen angel Satan himself resides. His wings flap eternally, producing chilling cold winds that freeze the thick ice found in Cocytus. The three faces of Satan, black, red, and yellow, can be seen with mouths gushing bloody foam and eyes forever weeping, as they chew on the three traitors, Judas, Brutus, and Cassius. This place is furthest removed from the source of all light and warmth. Sinners here are frozen deep in the ice, faces out, eyes and mouths frozen shut. Traitors against God, country, family, and benefactors lament their sins in this frigid pit of despair

darth_phobeius
29 September 2005, 07:36 PM
I went through more than that getting into my fraternity.
Hanging with the crew in the ninth. Hell would be a cool breeze compared to this place.

Your fate has been decided....
You are one of the lucky ones! Because of your virtue and beliefs, you have escaped eternal punishment. You are sent to Purgatory!
Purgatory

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You have escaped damnation and made it to Purgatory, a place where the dew of repentance washes off the stain of sin and girds the spirit with humility. Through contrition, confession, and satisfaction by works of righteousness, you must make your way up the mountain. As the sins are cleansed from your soul, you will be illuminated by the Sun of Divine Grace, and you will join other souls, smiling and happy, upon the summit of this mountain. Before long you will know the joys of Paradise as you ascend to the ethereal realm of Heaven.

I hope nobody believes Dante.

I really do-Dante was crazy.

And I'm getting scared now that I know what 'levels of Hell'
you are all supposed to get into.

Here'sa thje breakdown.

The Dante's Inferno Test has sent you to Purgatory!

Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
Level Who are sent there? Score
Purgatory Repenting Believers Extreme
Level 1 - Limbo Virtuous Non-Believers High
Level 2 Lustful Very Low
Level 3 Gluttonous Very Low
Level 4 Prodigal and Avaricious Very Low
Level 5 Wrathful and Gloomy Low
Level 6 - The City of Dis Heretics Very Low
Level 7 Violent Low
Level 8- the Malebolge Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers Low
Level 9 - Cocytus Treacherous Very Low

I think I'll just be meandering along now, as far away from all of you as possible...

I don't have to worry. Not that I feel bad for anything I did. I just don't believe in hell. I'm an optimist. The cup is half full for me. Read the Messianic Legacy. That book cracks me up. I think I will go read the Messianic Legacy and evaluate the level of truth in those statements. As well as any proof for or against them. I'll post my findings when I am done.

Oh, and the New Testament was written in Greek.

darth_phobeius
1 October 2005, 06:59 PM
Just because it was written in Greek which BTW not all of it was. Doesn't give them any reason to rename the guy. Besides most of the others weren't even alive at the same time and all the accounts of the crucifixtion were different. Luke admitted to being just an historian and that the account was taken from severl different people. Play the game "Gossip" and watch how stories change. It is a good book though, it's by the same people that did "Holy Blood, Holy Grail"

On a different subject< have any of you read the book "Deception Point" by Dan Brown. Very good book. It keeps up with his good record of "The Devinct Code" and "Angels and Demons" There is another one by him my wife is sending me tht she said was good.
What is up with the long release of "Legacy of the Force"? I NEED BOOKS. I be dying out here without stuff to read.

Nono, I was a heretic, remember? My close second was seducer. ;)

But I'm not especially a believer in anything particular -- I'm kind of an agnostic, except more and more, for various reasons, I have leanings toward something like belief in the metaphysical. The weight of circumstantial evidence has pushed me heavily in that direction.

So I think I'm somewhere between an agnostic and ... something else that I can't quite define. In any case, I have my own personal code to which I adhere, and among other things, I abhor the greedy, self-centered and unforgiveably shortsighted nature of our culture. I believe nature herself will pass judgement on humanity (in the form of catestrophic climate change or dwindling resources ... or, more likely, both) long before any Judeo-Christian "God" does, and I believe it's well past time that it happened.

Let the Protestants especially pray to their god of material wealth for deliverance when that day comes.

At the very least, I can say that I'm not concerned with Dante's judgement of me. ;)

darth_phobeius
1 October 2005, 10:40 PM
Keep your catastrophies to yourself. I like my greed. It's well earned after years of selfless service in the form of a decade of intense Boy Scout work (yes we actually did stuff in our troop which includes participating in the recover of the OK City bombing) and six years of defending your right to complain about the corrupt when you get into your fossil fuel burning car and send things out over the internet on a computer that is plugged into the wall that gets power from burning, or polluting in someway. Reminds me of the Wahabi over here who will cut off five guys heads for selling ice because Mohammed didn't have ice in his time and then jump in their bran new Mercedes and drive off telling their friends over their cellphones about what they just did. Unless you are living in a cave somewhere no one needs to complain about the way things are run because it could be a whole lot worse.

Just ranting

SpaceyBH
1 October 2005, 10:46 PM
For one, I'm phasing out my car and replacing it with the bike that I already ride to most everywhere I go now. I plan to junk the car completely ASAP.

Two, I did four years of service myself, so you're not impressing me, and don't talk to me about "defending" anything -- the military is not being used to defend anything but the dwindling resources our "leaders" are stealing. We're in a resource war, pure and simple.

Not that I blame the troops in the slightest; most of them haven't a clue what's really going on, and they're victims at least as much as anyone and more than most.

darth_phobeius
2 October 2005, 01:52 AM
First, I'd like to see how far you would go on that bike. You must live somewhere that it is only a couple dozen miles to where ever you have to go, because I would like you to make the one run from Waco to Austin to catch a plane on a bike. Faze away.

Second, just because you were in didn't mean you served, and I don't remember the last time I shot a guy who was running off with a gallon of oil. Usually it's terrorist even if the American public does think so. I have been on the inspections of the oil rigs that are suppose to support this country. GUESS WHAT? They don't work. What resources did we race to get there.
And admit it.....I do impress you

BTW, I'm in the second level of hell, scoring highly in Lustfulness, Violence, Fraudulence, Maliciousness and Pandering.

You have come to a place mute of all light, where the wind bellows as the sea does in a tempest. This is the realm where the lustful spend eternity. Here, sinners are blown around endlessly by the unforgiving winds of unquenchable desire as punishment for their transgressions. The infernal hurricane that never rests hurtles the spirits onward in its rapine, whirling them round, and smiting, it molests them. You have betrayed reason at the behest of your appetite for pleasure, and so here you are doomed to remain. Cleopatra and Helen of Troy are two that share in your fate.

Interesting.

On a different subject< have any of you read the book "Deception Point" by Dan Brown. Very good book. It keeps up with his good record of "The Devinct Code" and "Angels and Demons" There is another one by him my wife is sending me tht she said was good.

BTW, its The Da Vinci Code, and while it makes for a good read, the supposedly factual stuff its based on is a pile of lies.

Let the Protestants especially pray to their god of material wealth for deliverance when that day comes.

As a Christian, I am highly offended by thaty remark. As A Protestant, I am rather angry about the insensitivity of that remark and can say with perfect honesty that you have no idea what you are talking about. So please stop.

At the very least, I can say that I'm not concerned with Dante's judgement of me.

Fine by me.

C'mon guys. This ain't the place. Take it up via email if you need to. Play nice.

I'd love to take it up via email. Except that here I am protected from flamefights. Still, I am quite willing to Stand Down. Now let's get back to RolePlaying.

Thanks Psyc for the correction on the book. Was typing late at night and my spelling gets off. I agree the book is fiction through and through except for the name of organizations but it is a good story. Have you read Angels and Demons yet?

No worries. I wasn't offended. I am a born offender and just like to argue. Me and my wife argue just for fun over political subjects because she is a right-wing (non-liberal) Democate and I am a Right-wing (extreme) Republican so it is alot of fun and it drives my mother-in-law crazy. We don't get mad just debate, and then turn to the internet and other people trying to prove points. The only subject we don't debate is religion because besides neither of us being religious we both agree that it's like argueing over who's imaginary friend is the best and when people try and use their books (ie Bible, Quran, etc) to prove a point neither is really using a source since they all were written by man and editted my man for the express benefit of man. Needless to say we love to argue and it sometimes spills over. Apologies all.

Sorry I didn't nip this in the bud earlier folks. I've been gone the last few days. And I see that I can't leave you kids alone for a few minutes without there being some problem. :D I am partially to blame for some of the remarks and things I have posted so I'll tone it down also. Let's try and keep this thread strictly game related or at least ROG related. Thus no more religious or political discussions. Only because different people have different views obviously and those views will often conflict. So please just be nice, all of us should have learned how to play with others in say....kindergarten. So let's pretend we're all big boys and girls and respect others, and if there is a problem you may take it up with me and we can try and figure out why you need to discuss these things on a Star Wars RPG game thread. (I hope no one is offended and quits but if you are get over it. :D ) That said ...I will be posting an update shortly.

Perhaps some of us are forgetting who is in charge of the thread here. It is not anyone's place except mine to correct something a player is doing in game. Let me clarify, I will correct people in public if needed. Things between players need to be done via PM so as not to appear to be calling anyone out. We are all here to have fun and not be harassed about how one PC posts by other PC's ( I will be the sole harrasser...Is that even a word I wonder?) So just in case I am not being clear, if Bsod wants to post his name as BSOD....fine. What difference does it really make. It is actually an acronym that was cleared prior to game starting by myself. I could have some signifigance later on so please be patient. Not wanting to sound like an ass but some of the little petty seeming things get to me quick. And just as a side note, if you choose to disregard what I am saying at least keep those comments in this ( The OOC Thread) and not the IC Thread. Thank You.:D

Layout of the Original Sin
Need Starships of the Galaxy Guide to see to the fullest
-Cockpit: 3 Crew Bridge Layout (Third on the top of the page in the SotG)
-All the living quarters and crew areas are located on Deck 1 (Top Level)
-A central corridor leads back from the bottom a set of five metal steps that lead up to the cockpit 30m to a ' T ' intersection at the entrance to the top and bottom Quad Turret's gunwells. 5m down the corridor from the cockpit are (Port) Brok's and (Starboard) Trace's quarters (Large Square State Rooms SotG). Down the Port side beyond Brok's quarters are the living areas for four VIPs (two adjoining Small State Rooms SotG). Down the Starboard side beyond Trace's quarters is the two man crew quarters (SotG) the galley and the lounge.
-At the gunwells the corridor splits into two corridors that curver around to port and starboard to the rear.
-Where the two curved corridors that form a ring meet back together are three pressure doors. The port and starboard doors lead to two small hanger bays (Tiny Size fighter or smaller) which when empty can contain 100 Metric Tons of Cargo. The middle door opens to a 30m corridor that leads straight back to the Primary and Secondary Engine Rooms (curved engine rooms SotG)
Back in the forward corridor is a personel lift to port and a ladder to starboard that leads to Deck 2 (Bottom Level) and the two cargo holds.
-Forward Hold Dimensions: 30m Length x 40m Wide x 10m High for 5,000 Metric Tons. Also located in the forward hold are the entrances to the two forward Laser Cannon Turrets and their Manual Controls(Usually on Automatic). The forward hold cargo bay door is a heavy door set in the forward bulkhead and lowers to act as a ramp for cargo loading.
-Separating the two holds is a 10m long area of reinforced bulkhead that houses a maintenance shop and storage for consumables and in the center the gunwell tube leading down from Deck 1 to the bottom Quad Turret.
-Rear Hold Dimensions: 50m Length x 40m Wide x 10m High for 10,000 Metric Tons (pretty big if you think about it). The rear cargo ramp is located in the floor towards the rear of the hold which lowers to act as a loading ramp for the cargo hold. The entrances to the two rear Laser Cannon Turrets Manual Controls (Usually on Automatic) are located to the back of the cargor hold to port and starboard. The magazine (16 Missles) loading area for the Concussion Missles is also located in the center of the rear hold. Two heavy duty lifts are to port and starboard toward the center bulkhead for lifting cargo off the ground during landing.
-There are two personel airlocks. Both on Deck 1 halfway around the the curved corridor to port and starboard.
-All hatches have magcom fields to seal in case of hull rupture and for security purposes. During flight the Cockpit is always sealed just in case of hull breach (so you can't just walk in there)
-There is a cargo airlock in the forward hold on Deck 2.
-The one escape pod is behind the one of two lockers set into the corridor between the cockpit stairs and the beginning of the room. These lockers contain four EV suits (non-combat) for doing repairs outside the ship while in space. There is also a Power Cell Recharger and Energy Cell Recharger, plus many other things used for operations in space. The Escape Pod is located behind the Port Locker. A hidden catch releases the locker to swing forward on secreted hinges.

These are for clearification on where you are in the ship and so you don't just run to such and such and there is nothing there and makes planning defense if boarded easier. If there are any suggestions or anything or if you don't like it Max let me know.
