Hi everybody.

I just bought the Core Instruction book for my 8-year-old son. I played D&D as a kid, so I am familiar with role play and the basics of combat, etc., but I don't have time to develop my own adventures. Are there any ready-made adventures that I can use to introduce my son to the game? Where might I find them?

Thanks
dave

WOTC has a slew of free downloads and online resources at your disposal at this here page (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=starwars/downloads) and this here page (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=starwars/archives), which includes some mini-adventures and extra materials.

Let me know how it goes with your son. My son's three and I'd like to game with him some day. ;)

For a considerably longer and apparently high quality (having not gamed it myself, though I've seen some reviews that rated it quite high), but not free, pre-made adventure for more players, check out Tempest Feud by Wotc.

Or, you could always read one of the longer campaigns in the Roleplaying forum and mold the events into a game. I don't think that there'd be any complaints.

Also...as a general rule of thumb, the game is much more fun withm ore players. Either now or in the future, (assuming your very lucky son likes the game,) you could probably invite friends of your osn and ask thme if they wnat to learn to play. That is, however, probably best served by waiting for later, to make sure that your son likes the game (for one thing, he may tell everyone he knows about it if he really enjoys it,) becuase then he may be able to help teach his friends.

If you don't mind me asking, do you have any other kids?
