Okay, this is probably old news already. But just in case it's not, head over to the WOTC SWM page for a few previews.

HK-47, Clone Commander Gree, Yoda and an awesome looking Darth Maul!

Do you have a link for those of us too lazy to hunt the URL down (and that don't have WOTC bookmarked)?

Heck, they had me at HK-47 (and the web article has updated d20 stats to boot!).

I am kinda curious to see what sort of Yoda is in this set, since they've had two beat-stick Yodas so far. Maybe this one will be a true master of the Force, and maybe even be for the Rebel faction.

Though it is nice to see the EU finally getting some character lovin'.

Yay! Some of my minis are in this set, and my buddy Jeff "Lupis the Bold" Carlisle's as well- that is to say, we did the artwork that the mini sculpts were based on (designing the poses etc) and will appear on the stat cards. I recognise my Yoda, Mas Amedda and Varactyl-handler. They did a real nice job of translating the drawing accurately. :)

Well, here's some more previes, this time from KidzWorld.

http://www.kidzworld.com/site/p6648.htm

They've got the new Yoda stats, who is the Rebel's answer to the Empire's non-Sith Palpatine, and gives Jedi Luke a definite Force Point boost. There's also Ulic Qel-Droma and some heavy artillary for the Rebels.

One of the perks of freelancing for Wizards of the Coast is that occasionally I get to sneak preview upcoming products. I've seen the stat cards for all of Champions of the Force as well as the next set, and let me tell you both are going to be GREAT. Champions of the Force is going to be a big set for me, and I've already preordered a couple of cases. I think it's going to be my favorite set since Rebel Storm.

That's one major recommendation from a major dude I respect...I think I just sat up and took notice. ;)

Seriosuly, though, I'm salivating...even though my Minis colleciton is currently merely a Rebel Storm Starter and an ROTS booster...:(

Hey, anybody have a list of all the minis for Champions yet? Or is there a site online that has them? Any help would be hot.

rebelscum.com has a set list that comes from the WOTC forums. Although not official (that I can tell), it seems to be accepted as correct by everyone on the forums.

Just a heads up in case anyone missed this:

http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=647457

Set lists, stats, and more! The first page shows a scan of the set list and the poster showing all the poses (some look really sweet). The second page also has a scan of the rules insert.. There appear to be some pretty powerful new pieces.

One last Wizards preview

http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=starwars/article/CotFPreview7

Personally, I'm a bit more psyched over Visas Marr being used for the generic Jedi Sentinel (it's a cool fig nevertheless) than the Solo twits, but at least the sculpts look pretty darn spiffy.
