View Full Version : (D6) Calling all luxury yacht makers...!

Now starts the making of your best Luxury Yacht.

Rules: It must be under 150K
It must show the cost of everything
It must be able to take 10 people max, including crew.

Modifications and upgrades can come from all the written sources for D6, like platts, trampfreighters etc.

150 K seems like a fairly low limit for a luxury yacht. Most people who would buy one wouldn't even have to ask how much it costs; they would just buy it anyway. Is there a reason you picked that number?

I'll have a look at the stats for some of the ships in my space race campaign and see if any of them might be bought for that kind of price.

Yeah for a luxury yacht it is a little cheap, but I will do what I can to have it work.

Fine. Make it 300k...

Sounds good, I appreciate you doing this Wolverine this should be fun!

I am working on a design, but apparently this one didin't have the interest that the D20 thread did. Are there so few D6ers left to even populate this thread with ideas. If I were home I would post a design that I created, but as I am at work and don't have my design with me, I will post it tomorrow. I sure hope that others are just working on their ideas as we speak . . .

I've got one already. Let me just go dig it up, and post a link in this thread.

Here's the link to my Sorceress-class yacht (http://holonet.swrpgnetwork.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16939), which is also my entry to this contest.

I've also bumped it up in the d6 section of the forum.

I saw it, but i would like some 'working out of the price'. Like

Base hull - 40k
Sensors +35k
Shields package - 45k... etc///

Sorry, but I haven't got one - I wouldn't know where to start.

Hm. Well, i could have sworn there was somewhere that gave the base cost for a ship's hull, based on size and hull score.
