This will be a resource thread - if you need a picture of something/someone, we (I)'ll look it up, draw it, whatever.

...proceed.

I was just wondering if there was a site with general PC portraits that someone could use. I know there are alot for normal DnD but havent found any for SWRPG.

Don't know about a site with those, but in Star Wars Gamer, there's a page full of generic portraits... this page appears in every issue ,and generally has some sort of theme (Jedi, space pirates, etc)

I could do with a pic of a spacetrooper, to make sure my players are scared enough. I was sure I saw one, but I can't remember where.

What are the possiblities of having you sketch, doodle, or artistically create a pic of the blade fighters from Adumar? Just some thing as a basic design that I can download or right click and copy

Personally, I think the second one looks far cooler, but... it's a rather small image, I wans't able to find a nice hirez one.

Actually there was a link to such a site way back in the day off of the SWRPGNetwork homepage. How-ever the website consisted mostly of pictures of WitchBlade, Tomb Raider and other "hugely proportioned women" from various comic books. However: this may help you (http://roleplaygames.about.com/library/weekly/aa070700.htm)

Oh and by the way, this guy drew a pic for me, it was COOL looking. Trust me on this.

It would be really cool if somebody scanned in all those pages and posted them somewhere for community use. However, I don't have a copy of the Gamer in front of me to look for "don't copy me" warnings. Do they say that they can not be copied or reproduced in any way? :?

on the bottom of the page in itty bitty font it reads:
Permission granted to photocopy for personal use only.

Well, for starters how about the following:

Marketta-class shuttle (successor to the Lambda)
Marl-class Frieghter (from one of the NJO books)

Many thanks in advance.

On another board I belong to, there's been speculation that Captain Typho's action figure from Episode II (recently posted on the official site) has a blaster that looks like we think a blastsword would look like.

Of course, it is a blaster and not a blastsword, but it can give you an idea of what a blastsword might look like.this is the link to the pic (http://www.starwars.com/collecting/news/2002/01/news20020114_0.html) Typho is the second from the right.

Then again, on second glance it doesn't look much like a blastsword, does it? I guess it's more wishful thinking on our part- much like the petitions circulating to get Thrawn into Episode II. Some parts of the EU are so cool that we want them to get into a more 'official' part of the canon.

Aw, thanks, Superdog! :D That was actually a 3d render (and I had no idea what I was doing, and still don't, with 3d stuff), but... it did look rather cool, eh? :D

Aaron - Thrawn was already in the URs mapping for Palpy by the time of E2... plus, the movie's already been filmed, so... ;)

Marketta-class... hmm, there don't seem to be too many details, and there are no official pics yet, so... for right now, I'd assume it looks rather similar to the Lambda or Kappa... Maybe some other Greek leytter, like possibly psi.

Is Marketta a letter or something? Or is it just a cool name? Cause if it's a letter or shape, that may give us insight into the visual appearance of the shuttle...

I find myself looking for original (artist-created) ships and characters more often than not. I usually spend hours on the web searching various places for original artwork that rougly fit what I want things to look like.

I do have an original ship design I might use that I would like to have someone interpret artistically, though. I have posted a quick D20 stat block, descriptions and rough (very rough) interior map. As you can tell my artistic skills aren't up to my imagination right now. If you're really looking for something to draw or render, your interpretation of what the ship would look like on the exterior, with maybe even a better interior map, would be great. The location is:
http://www.geocities.com/madmysticmoose1/newship.htm

Other things I've been looking for is a sleek crescent-shaped single-pilot starfighter for the starfighters of one of my original races, the Asazani, who are vaguely Aztec-like. The ship is a Konashu-class (named for their moon god) or as New Republic folks would call it a "C-Wing".
And although this will make some groan inwardly, one of my players has an Ewok Force Adept/Jedi Consular. It was all I could do to keep her from playing a gungan. It's not likely I'll ever find a picture of a female Ewok Jedi. Somewhere out there there probably is a good picture of a female Twi'lek Jedi (the other Jedi character in my campaign), so I'll keep looking for that. If someone could help me find these images, though, I'm sure my players would appreciate it.

Here's one I have not been able to find at all...and I have more than a few RPG books I've gone through.

Arakyd Helix-clas Light Freighter...or Interceptor as some have named it.

For that matter, I don't think I've ever seen a pic of a Gauntlet Starfighter either.

You can find a picture of an <b>Arakyd Helix Light Interceptor</b> in <i>Adventure Journal #5 (WEG)</i>. Furthermore, a picture of a <b>Gauntlet</b> starfighter is shown in the <i>Planets Collection (WEG)</i>. :)

my players recently bought a mon calamari bulk freighter
id like to see how you would draw one up? should you use the design features of a mon cal cruiser or start from scratch....whatever.
or how about a drawing of a YVH-1A droid from Lando in its entire form, maybe colour the laminanium armour shell...
on the other hand lets see a picture of Tsavong Lah !
lets start with that :)

fury

Thanks Deck. I'll have to hunt the Journal down and scour up a copy of Collections unless it's in one of the individual Planets books.

Next question then. Where can one find a pic of a MonCal Cal-class starfighter?

With the NJO Sourcebook out now...and so fully lacking in any images of what the "New Fleet" ships look like and other EU craft, I was wondering if anyone had some concepts of what these ships looked like.

I know about the BAC and Defender SD in SotG and really appreciate having those.

However, other than those really subpar WEG pics, has anyone drawn, generated, scribbled, or cave painted pics of the following:

Viscount/Strident Star Defender
Mediator-class Battle Cruiser
Republic-class Star Destroyer

Belarus-class Star Cruiser
Corona-class Line Frigate
Proficient-class Light Cruiser

Agave-class Picket Ship
Defender-class Assault Carrier
Endurance-class Fleet Carrier
Majestic-class Heavy Cruiser
Nebula-class Star Destroyer
Warrior-class Gunship
Sacheen-class Light Escort
Prowler-class Recon Vessel
Hajen-class Fleet Tender

Just to cast a huge net. Hope someone can help.

I just wish WotC would put up a pdf version of the SW galaxy map and the starship combat page from the main book.

I was just wondering if there was a site with general PC portraits that someone could use.

A while back I spent some time surfing the net and looking for such pictures for my game. Here's a list I compiled of good pics for SW PCs (and NPCs). It is by no means comprehensive, and the vast majority are Jedi pics, but it's a start.

I'd just like to make a quick interruption. ;)

The Template Facades: The SWRPG Character Sketch Archive website was recently added to the Link Archive. It's a site whose sole purpose is to provide pictures that other gamers can use to represent their characters. Personally, I think it's a fantastic resource and the art is top-notch. Find the link and description at:
