<B>Hunter-Killer Transport</B>

&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; The Hunter-Killer transport was designed primarily for those Bounty hunters with more money with brains. Surprisingly for Arakyd they have done fairly well with New Republic as well. The Hunter-Killer is a starship based off of the Hunter-Killer Probot frame, and it incorporates many of its features. Using more advanced, more expensive technology, the H-T is a well built patrol ship that features a Droid brain to run it while the crew are asleep or away.

&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Many bounty hunters like it for the heavy weapons, strong hull and prisoner capacity. Normally it is only the guilds that use this vessel due to its price, but there are times that several independents buy one together and use it from time to time for the 'big catch' or as a mobile base of operations.

&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; The New Republic has bought 500 of the vessels to act as patrol ships in out of the way sectors until a permanent base - like a Golan 1 - can be put in place. The selling points for the New Republic was primarily the relative inexpensiveness of the craft compared to normal bases and equal patrol craft. Secondary to this was the hanger bay, which can house 4 starfighters. This added firepower, they believed, would be enough of a deterrent for small pirate gangs.

Looks pretty good, Armadious.

I was originally going to suggest upping the price. It seems pretty cheap for an 80m Capital scale vessel with decent weaponry. But then I checked the original H-K Probot and see that it's only listed at 165,000 credits...

Your ship is listed as barely half as long as the original H-K is tall. Is the new ship missing a lot of what was originally on the H-K?

Overall, though, I think this works pretty well. It's certainly an interesting idea basing it off the H-K Probot and I think it works quite well for what you set it up as. Good job!

I too wanted to up the price when I created it, but did not since for much more a player could probably modify a HK probot to the same stats.

What I would be more inclined to do is make both starfighter scale and up the hull and shields some.

The length I listed is what I thought the length (from front to back) of the vessel would be - I also quoted the height as 150 m.

Hopefull the the guess of 80 m is about right for length (again front-back) of the original Hk as well.
