Just wondering if any one knew where a picture of the Blood Carver could be found. Either in D20 books or D6 books. Or in any magizines. Thanks for your help.

Neither nor. ;) But you can find a decent image of a Blood Carver on page 15 of the Essential Guide to Alien Species. It's definitely a good book and is worth buying. However, when you need the pic very urgently, I could scan it out of my book for you. :)

I'm almost as disappointed by that photo as I am of the Caamasi images. *sigh*

Hey there. I don't really remember a Blood Carver being in Darth Maul either of the Darth Maul Novels. I do know one is in Rogue Planet. I certainly wasn't expecting it to look any hting like that though. Looks kinda dumb in my opinion. But ahh well. Thanks a lot for the pic.

Hmmm, I must admit that I also expected a Blood Carver to look more dangerous or threatening when I read the novel Rogue Planet. My imagination was totally different than the pic above. Sorry. ;)

When I read this thread yesterday, I was shure that it was the it was the Oskan Blood Eater that was being asked about. Perhaps using that picture or something close to it would be more dangerous and/or threatening. :)

When I read this thread yesterday, I was shure that it was the it was the Oskan Blood Eater that was being asked about.Funny, I thought the same thing! Perhaps you could decide/declare that the Blood Carver was a variation of the Blood Eater and had a similar (and more scary) appearance?

What's a Oskan Blood Eater and where can I find a pic of that? Name sounds familar but I don't recall reading about it in any novel.

Can't tell you if it's been in any novels, but I remember it from two WEG adventures. 1) Operation: Elrood (pg 25) and 2) Secrets of the Sisar Run (pg 61). It might appear other places as well, but these are the two places I've seen it.

The Elrood book has a crappy pic but does have stats. The Sisar book has no stats, but a nicer pic. Of course, if you just want the pic to use for a Blood Carver, then stats are moot.

Tell you what - if I can get motivated AND get my scanner up and running, I'll zap the Sisar book's pic here so you can get a look.

It also appears on pg 51 of Creatures of the Galaxy, it is the same picture as the Elrood one but bigger.

Creatures are good...

Recently I used the Ranphyx in a campaign (it is another from CotG).

The pcs were working for a big game hunter who never left his station. He had the animals brought to him instead. Anyway the Ranphyx pair was fairly easy to subdue.

The hard one was the Elomin Tuerkey...

Ok, for starters, here's the pic from the Elrood adventure. The only text description I have is:

This 2.5 meter tall predator is dark-skinned, with four long saw-like claws and a head that appears to be all maw.

Sure, that's probably nothing like what you're after, but it's what I've got.

And this one's the pic from the Sisar book. My apologies for attaching them like this, but since one's kinda large I didn't want everyone to have to download both pictures as part of the thread.

Thanks a lot for the pics Gulmyros but I have pretty much all the WEG and WOTC books all I'm missing are a couple adventure books for WEG. But thanks alot for telling me. That one pic is a lot cooler in Sisar than in Elrood and Creatures. Thanks again.

You're quite welcome.

And as always, anything I put up here can be used, or discarded. Makes little difference to me.
