I have not yet started my game, but I am planning on running sometime around 6mos - 2 yrs after the Battle of Endor. I'd like the players to be able to be apart of the liberation of Coruasant - or at least during that era. I plan on doing a little research (ie-reviewing my old comics & novels) on the era.

I have a few of the older modules from WEG, but not much. And the ones that I do have, don't have what I'm looking for. I've been looking around the 'net and the best that I have found is an excel spread sheet that shows an indepth listing of the planets and a grid of the planets. But not exactly what I'm looking for. I've seen the maps in NJO of the Galaxy, but I haven't seen one that is out on the net - more like what's in some of the novels, mixed with the clear readibilty of the ones in NJO, but with the addition of the ones from SW Gamer.
Now a poster map of all these planets in SWG would be awesome. I rechecked my SW Rebellion game and it didn't have one either. The SW Rebellion game would be great - but it isn't up to date - nor exactly accurate (at least not any longer).

Anybody have something like this?

The new project Star Wars Fact File comes with a very large galaxy poster map in its first issue. :)

It's SW Gamer issue #5 ... features darth vader on the cover and theme of the mag is the Dark Side ... Hmm, if ya can find someone who has the mag and borrow the poster... or perhaps one of the people in your gaming party has the issue... (then ya may be able to re-draw the map onto larger cardstock and always has it with ya)

The map is a gamer's gem... all the major hyperspace trade lanes and such... inner& outer core teritories and such... charts for determining nav haz & time of travel with astrogation (with or without) taken into account... Planet types and other nifty things are detailed on the poster...

Other than that, there's always the WotC site where ya can order back issues from... speaking of which, I myself are missing several issues in between 8o

Hope this helps some!

I wish I could tell you what the site was, but I was surfing and found a killer map on the web. It is downloadable and has areas that you can click on to give you a more detalied view. I'm sure someone can tell you were to gety it, but not me. Perhaps it was on theforce.net. Unfortunately my laptop, which is where the file is, is currently no internet capable and the file is to big to copy to disk. Otherwise I would attach a copy here.

I took all the SWG's to class/work with me and went through them. The map was in issue 5. It looks different than that of the one attached to the boards. Both work well.
Thanks for everybody's help. I did just pick up the WEG's SW Planets Collection. I hope that is still useable - at least the basic planet information and such - with WotC's version.
