Hello,

I thought I'd take a moment to hype my latest project, a complete, prequel era Star Wars RPG adventure.

"Hydra", a short adventure set in the wake of the events of Episode 1: The Phantom Menace, was designed for 4 to 6 relatively inexperienced characters. The adventure works best if there is at least one Jedi in the party. Otherwise, anything goes. Combat specialists will have plenty to do, of course, but techies and smooth talkers will also find moments to shine. The adventure was designed using WEG's D6 system, but I've an included an appendix with D20 stats, and converting should be a simple matter. The adventure is best suited for D20 characters of around 3rd level.

The document is in PDF format and looks best using Acrobat Reader 5.0 from Adobe. Here's the direct link:

If anyone has any comments about it, I'd love to hear what you've got to say! Any similarities to Episode 2 are entirely coincidental. Honest!

Cheers,

Mark Hudson

I'm not sure about anybody else, but that link doesn't seem to be working. At least for me, anyway.

The link does seem to be working, well for me anyway, but it does take a bit of time though.

Just from the quick scan I had, it looks good.

It must be due to the firewall I'm going through here where I work. I keep getting "Page cannot be displayed" message. Glad to hear its working for others.

Nope, the link isn't working for me either. Perhaps if you could attach the PDF file as a Zip to this board, so we could read it?

Hola,

I apologize for this. One day I'll have my own domain. In the meantime, AOL's webserver has been less than reliable in recent months and it sometimes takes multiple attempts to get through. It should work after a couple tries.

Even zipped, the PDF is 464K which seems too big to attach. If anyone has problems getting the PDF, drop me a line and I'd be happy to email a copy to you later tonight.

Sorry 'bout that.

Very nice, Mark. The drop shadows, etc didn't display properly until I upgraded to Acrobat Reader 5, but looks spiffy now.

As one thought, how would you like to be hosted off starwars-rpg.net ? (I can't promise anything, it's Nealos' server ... just tossing it out as an idea.)

Niiice!

Like the others, you could have fooled me about this being a profesionally published adventure!

I think stuff on this caliber would be a real contribution for sw rpg'rs on both sides of the dice (d6 & d20)

Keep up the good work Mark!
