I looked all over but can't find what i need, i am looking for rules/prices for upgrading ships. My PCs all pitched in and bought a used freighter,(same base type as millenium falcon) and they would like to upgrade it with sheilds, more blasters, and a new hyper drive. There is a tech speicalist that would like to craft these to get it cheaper, but i can't find rules or anything for ship upgrades. Anyone know of a net book, or a offical book with these? any help is appreacited, thx

Well it sounds like you are running a D20 campaine but the D6 rules are on page 61 of the 2nd edition revised and expanded rulebook

On pages 28 and 29 of Starships of the Galaxy (d20), there are some loose rules about modifying ships, but I think that d6 did a better job with this, so i am going to work on a conversion for the rules found on pg. 61 of the d6 rule book to the d20 rules.

Well I wrote up what I think is a semi-decent mini-supplement about repairing and upgrading ships, vehicles, and weapons in d20 (of course, repair rules are already found in d20, but these are meant to replace them, if you so chose to).

Keep in mind, this isn't my final attemp at this, as Im not too impressed with it. Im going to expand and add and modify. Expect future versions to pop up soon either here or on DLOS

If you search swrgpnet, there is a file by Moridin about how to repair ships. It is in PDF format and is about 30 pages with everything you could ever want.

I didnt know Moridin did that, um... use his, its probably better.:D

Regardless Ill still work on this mini-supplement. That was just a quick rough draft to work as a quick way of solving his problem.

Chase, would you mind giving us some directions to that guide of Moridin's? It sounds most helpful, but I can't seem to find it. Thanks buddy.:)

I checked yours out Matt. Thanks for taking the trouble. Haven't digested it yet, but it looks good. I'm curious to see the other one for comparrison.

Not a problem, I stumbled across it sometime ago and I have it on file on my computer. I had to look abit but I found it again, I've used a couple of times for different games and I must say I really enjoy them.

OK rules. I might do some based off that on my own.
