• Ysanne Isard

Ysanne Isard, known to many Rebels as the Iceheart, is a formidable foe of the New Republic, and of Rogue Squadron in particular. She is a tall, slender human female with an athletic build, but her most unique physical feature is her eyes; one eye is an ice blue, while the other is a red on par with molten lava. She is cruel and shows no remorse for killing or mentally destroying another being, which she did frequently by creating living weapons in her secret Imperial Prison facility, the Lusankya. According to Imperial rumors, she told Emperor Palpatine that he father was responsible for the theft of the Death Star plans, and had him executed for treason in order to become the next Director of Imperial Intelligence. In the years following the death of Palpatine, Isard held together then Empire on Coruscant while the warlords broke off into their own territories, keeping a good portion of the Empire from splintering. She orchestrated the downfall of Sate Pestage, who had declared himself the Emperor's successor, and became the new leader of the Empire. When the New Republic finally turned its sights on liberating Coruscant, they found Isard to be a daunting enemy with incredibly destructive power. Through psychological and biological warfare, Isard wreaked havoc on the New Republic, but was eventually forced off planet by Rogue Squadron, making them her enemy for life. In the years that followed, she captured and held Thyferra, choking off the Galaxy's bacta supply with the Super Star Destroyer Lusankya, which had lain buried under the structires of Coruscant for years, before it was captured following her defeat at the Battle of Thyferra. She faked her death, cloned herself, and even tried to steal back the Lusankya before finally being killed at the hands of Iella Wessiri.
