• Major Grodin Tierce

    Major Grodin Tierce served as a part of the triumvurate that hatched the plan that caused the New Republic such turmoil during the Caamas Document crisis. Originally serving as an aide to Moff Disra, his secret was discovered and brought to light in order to convince him to join the plot: he was a former Imperial Guardsman. He had been off the Death Star II at the time of its destruction; Major Tierce had been cycled out into a stormtrooper unit at the time to keep his combat skills fresh. After the death of his Emperor, Tierce survived the treachery of his fellow Guardsman, Carnor Jax, by opting to retain his anonymity as part of a stormtrooper unit, though secretly planning to give rise again to a powerful Empire. He was stationed aboard Grand Admiral Thrawn's flagship, the Chimaera, where he and his unit captured and executed the traitorous Rukh after the assasination of Thrawn. Eventually, he came to be of service on Bastion to Moff Disra, where he functioned as the tactical arm of the group. It was later revealed by Admiral Gilad Pellaeon that Major Tierce had another, more hidden secret: he was a clone. The real Major Tierce had died in combat, but this Major Tierce was one of Thrawn's experimental superclones, created from the best the Empire had to offer, but infused with the military and tactical genius of Thrawn himself. Unfortunately, as Major Tierce illustrates, the experiments were a failure as the clones turned out to be psychologically unstable. Even still, before his death at the hands of Mistryl warrior Shada Du'kal, Major Tierce was a dangerous enemy of the New Republic.
