Why, hello Holonet Fanfiction section... it's been a while, no?

I thought I would kick the upgrades off with a bang. I have about five thousand words written, and most of a semi-coherent story that can be a one off or a series.

And here it is... for the community's collective enjoyment.

It is odd... I had not done much in the way of free writing in a while, what with the school and everything. It was nice, and so as much of an attention-'ho as I am ( ), I think the writing experience itself was worth it.

I have found that fanfiction is one of those things that let's me fiddle with just the writing part-- to be honest, this story will probably get recycled as I finish my series bible for the novel idea I've had floating around, but hey, that's why I like SW Fanfic. It lets you dispense with the brainstorming of your own internally consistent universe and just rely on stuff you know until you come up with your own versions of "The Way Things Work," and then tweak from there.

So let me know if people are reading-- I'm curious to see if I still have the old touch...
