We've been having a lot of trouble over the last few months with bogus spammers hitting the site and creating fake registrations. In fact, there have been so many bogus registrations that it's drowning out the few legitimate registrations we are getting. If you are trying to register for the site and don't get back a timely response, please e-mail me at moridin {at} swrpgnetwork {dot} com and please use the phrase "SWRPGNetwork" in both the subject line and the message body to ensure that it gets past my spam filters. Make sure you mention your account name too, so I can verify it for you. ...

Just a quick update to let everyone know that we have opened a forum on the Holonet for discussion of the Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars RPG, including the Edge of the Empire game (currently in beta as of this writing). You can find the forum here. ...

Just a quick note, we have reopened the registration system fully following our upgrades this year. This is going to be a trial to see if our anti-spambot mechanisms are working, but for now there will no longer be a waiting period for user validation. So, if you've been looking to sign up for the site, now is the time to do so! ...

If you're seeing this message, you can probably tell that there are a lot of changes to the site. We've just undertaken a project to upgrade the software running the site, including the software running the HoloNet forums. While much of the technical work is done, we've got a long way to go getting the site back up and running at full capacity, with its content available to everyone.

Well, after too long an outage, we're back. I'd like to thank Grayson Armage Bedar Shepard and Kris Eclipse Vanderwater for all their help in getting the site back up. I couldn't have done it without their help.

Anyways, after this little experience we'll be looking to do some upgrades to improve stability, so hopefully this won't happen again. ...

Please forgive the personal announcement, but I figured that site visitors would likely want to know about this. I have recently accepted a position as a full time designer for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game at Wizards of the Coast. I'm moving out to Seattle to work in the Wizards offices as a full-time employee, helping write and direct the Star Wars RPG line and assisting on the Star Wars miniatures line. Though it's a daunting prospect to move across the country, I feel confident that I'll be able to adapt. Additionally, since I'll be spending my days working on the Star Wars RPG, I'll be doing what I've been working toward for the last five years.

I hope that this turns out to be a good move. At the very least, it should give all fans of Star Wars roleplaying some hope, as it means the line will continue with me as a full-time designer. Wish me luck, and may the Force be with you! ...

Some of you have e-mailed us voicing some concerns about the new site, and I would like to address them. First, the image files I (Moridin) kept on the SWRPG Database are slowly but surely being put into their appropriate stat blocks, plus many new images. Within the next week or so all of the images should be uploaded and inserted, so never fear.

Also, we do have a Downloads section on the way, but the coding is not yet complete. Rest assured, the fonts and utilities are on the way!

As an aside, we've had an overwhelming number of site visitors since our launch, and we'd like to thank all site visitors for giving us a good look. And as usual, don't hesitate to E-Mail Us with questions, comments, and concerns. We thrive on feedback! ...

Welcome to the grand opening of SWRPGNetwork - the future of SW-RPG content on the web. We sincerely hope that you will enjoy this site as much as we do, and that it serves as a useful reference for your own gaming sessions. We have been anxiously preparing this site for over four months, and we are excited to reveal it to the community at large.

There are many things we believe will make this site different from all other SW-RPG sites on the Web today. The first of these is the sophisticated sorting system for stats, articles, reviews, and all other content on the site; you can search using six separate categories and narrow your search down to a few select choices. Next, we are the only site to feature syndicated news directly from Wizards of the Coast, updated as often as they do. That way you never have to leave SWRPGNetwork to check on official news. We also have a live commenting system, allowing you, the community, to add your thoughts on everything you see here at SWRPGNetwork. And, of course, we have the daily news and quality content you've come to expect from all of our past projects.

We hope you are as intrigued by the possibilities of this site as we are. SWRPGNetwork would like to be a community partner, forming yet another link in the chain of sites that make this community a reality.
