For me I have always loved the D6 system. Even though I haven't played the game in years I would happily jump back into a D6 game over a D20 one, shame I don't know anyone who playes it.

If I remember not only do they do more damage than the ones on an ISD, they are also meant to have a slow rate of fire. In the Rebel Alliance Sourcebook (D6) they had a rate of fire of 1/3.

But they still need to improve. They need to play with a lot more width, and creativity. If they play such one dimensional rugby against the French they will get beat.

I thought the only way to get bonus points in the group stages were either scoring 4 or more tries, or losing but within 7 pts of the winning team.
