    Default Star Wars Pirates PbP

    Arrrrrg!!

    Hello all
I know Ive been gone for awhile but I expect to be back now so I decided I want to tryout an Idea. Pirates!

To put it simply you start smack down in the middle of space with a merchent ship, a PC crew, and the friendly reminder of your former captin floating through space...

After that you go out and raid ships and live the everyday life of a pirate! Any Interest?

One PC will play the captain, one will play the First Mate, and One will play the quarter master. Everyone else (potentialy NPCs) will be crew.

I will take ship recomendations latter.

    Thanx
    Chief

Sounds tempting. Can you release any information (time period, area we will be, etc.)? I will think about it.

Do mandalorians exist in the new republic? I was under the impression they got wiped out some how. (don't know where from) If they do you would have to send me stats. I only have the RCR.

They have the same stats as a human. The mandalorian SPECIES was wiped out a long time ago, but their ideals and culture were picked up by humans and they became a large mercenary/bounty hunting group. Jango isn't technically a Mandalorian, for instince, he is from Concord Dawn (a human colony planet). Mandalorians exist in all periods, but at verying levels. New Republic their were Mandalorians, mostly roaming the galaxy in small groups.

No, but I am currently enrolled in the True Imperials game, and I think I have a basic understanding of how it works (I've been following the 22nd Regiment game).

I'd be down for some buckaneering. Maybe a Duros pilot or a Jayne-style strong arm.

Point buy system, 30 points. Also use the 6 SP for the tech specialist and roll vitility. Please don't build your charecters as pirates but more as the standard crewman person with being a pirate thrust upon them. They didn't have a choice really, it was eiather pirate or permanent spacer. I think I'll NPC the Firstmate just to keep the game moving. Note this is a second attempt at GMing. My last attempt was the unfortanent Vanguard Squadron which didn't work out due to a troll and my dissaperence.

AHOY their cheifcaptain! I've been itching to play a star wars pirate for a long time in fact i already have a character idea with your permition I'd love to play a Hapan who had pirate ties in the Hapes Cluster but was outlawed, the only problem with that being he would have a pirate background. Please just think about it and i get you the offical stats for the Hapans.

Well, a character like that could easily just be working on a normal ship dispite being a pirate before. Hell, his past might have played a role in the mutany, or perhaps in sugesting our new career choice.

Yeah, I'm going to have to go with a Duros pilot. He's going to be either a scoundrel spacer or an ex-military pilot soldier. We're starting at level 1, right?

A very cool idea. I was wondering as well at what level you were starting at. Also how many PC's are you looking to have in your game?

Oh and Gernads, would you think about taking a Mandalorian partner in crime always wanted to play one, they're so cool.

    I found this too.

    1. Lvl 6 PCs, be ready to take my custom Pirate Captain PrC if you want to be captain. If you have trouble with making high lvl PCs in stat block form use Kaths generator found at this site. You also have 1500 Credits to spend but don't go spending them on Blaster rifles and the like. Remember you guys are on a leagle ship to start.

    2. I'm looking for quite a few PCs but if we have less we can start with a smaller ship

    3. Being a formor pirate would be fine

BTW, if you want a PrC or feat run it by me first
