For what purpose? Something to add?
Try not. Do or do not, there is no try.
facta, non verba
More like inquiring minds want to know. Several posters in the thread have indicated they are/were planning on making this a campaign event to deal with. I was just wondering what the feedback/fallout has been so far.

Lol this thread has been going on for ages.
In my campaign I made a normale Imperial Star Destroyer crash close to Coronet, on Corellia, giving a huge bang with the players mostly getting the effects from the airblast and airborne dust. Maybe the effect wasn't as is would have happened in real life. But somehow ending the session with the crash made a GREAT cliff hanger! The way I described it really made their hearts pound and giving em an 'OOH BLASSSST!!!!!' feeling. And made everyone do DC25 fortitude saved (which they all failed even if they are level 12+).
Then the next session started with the players scattered by several reasons over the wrecked city with a ground war going on arround them. It was awesome.
They are now still in this same ground war trying to keep Corellia from the Imperial hands. What started as an assault by the Alliance is now a big distaster with major losses on both sides.
Yes kid I do believe in the force, brute force.
Nice one.
I would like to see that session.![]()

Perhaps you can start the next session wth some being trapped under rubble and the others 'racing' against time (and the enemy) to rescue them.
You cannot dodge it if you don't know it is coming, and you cannot shoot at what you don't know is there!
I thought of that, this morning!
Starlighter, what was your players reaction of Star Destroyer crashing on Corellia?

In fact, yes. Today we have the overlay of the real estate taken up by the Executor if perhaps it were to fall on the city of Chicago.

SSD To Scale on Chicago map
Both 17km and 21 km versions offered for comparison.
In the grand scope of things.....reeeeeallly small.
Discussion arose from the TFA discussion about the SSD Wreck on Jakku shown in the Episode VII Trailer....
(technically.... this thread HAS BECOME CANON!)
Huzzah to us!

I thought that was only an ISD wreck, not an SSD.
You cannot dodge it if you don't know it is coming, and you cannot shoot at what you don't know is there!
The wreck you see them pan past that is "rightside up" and is featured in the Battlefront 3 footage is an ISD.
The engine array they fly into "upside down" is an SSD. The extra engine clusters in the background give it away, as well as the lack of a "bottom plate" shrouding the main engine cluster.

You cannot dodge it if you don't know it is coming, and you cannot shoot at what you don't know is there!

Do you have any kind of "hard proof" for this assertion?
I certainly see how you get to that conclusion, but from up here in the cheap seats, the path to that conclusion looks much more like widely spaced stepping stones than a clear path.
Could just as easily be a big cruiser, colony ship...something we've never seen before...
Never underestimate the wild speculation of a group of fans...
W.W.G.D. - What would Grimace do?
What kind of dust?
Dirt-laced dust. Probably originating from the ground.
I just posted something I found about it on Google+: https://plus.google.com/+KhairulHish...ts/hi7rs6mqHpa
