    Default A Clone Commando question

I've seen lots of conversions for the members of Delta Squad from "Star Wars Republic Commando" and I think that it's cool and all but what about the members of Omega Squad from the SW: RC novels?

You know RC-1136 (Darman), RC-1309 (Niner), RC-3222 (Atin), and RC-8015 (Fi).

    Darman: Demolitions
    Niner: Squad Leader
    Atin: Communications/Slicer
    Fi: Medic

Has anyone done these guys up and if so, where?

Also, could you write these up using the old Clone Trooper Maneul from the Message boards archives over at the WOTC?

    Moin Moin,

why you didn't use the stats of the delta-team? They should be similar.

Edit: i see the problem. Take Gee for Niner, Scorch for Darman.
For the rest i'll male some stats.

There are some errors in the stats - i've to re-write them.

I would be greatly surprised if NarCranor didn't cover Omega Squad in Clone Wars Sourcebook when the Clone Trooper section is released, given that they've covered some really obscure characters from novels and comic books.

Besides, Etain made it in the Jedi Order section, so it would be very out-of-place to not have Omega Squad.

Though I imagine both Omega and Delta would look pretty similar in terms of stats.

we have a pretty long list of clones well be covering, and delta and omega will obviously both get covered (as well as walon vau and kal skiratta) While we are doing items and armor for our june 1st offering, clones should be our july 1st offering, assuming we get them done on time (itll be tight, there are quite a few of them, its possible some might not make the cut just for time)

Anyway, we are definately hitting them, and thanks for pimping the project, donavan!

If I were to stat Omega Squad up:

Darman = Soldier/Commando/Demolitionist (From Clone Wars Sourcebook of Nar's).

    Niner = Soldier/Commando.

Atin = Soldier/Tech Specialist/Commando (Using the Variant Tech Specialist rules)

and Fi = Soldier/Commando (Skill Emphisis Treat Injury + Surgary Feat).

    But that is just me.

On a related note: Anyone looking forward to the 3rd Republic Commando book later this year?

I have to agree with Seto on one thing:

I wouldn't give Commando's thug levels. They were born, bred, and engineered to be Soldiers.

IMHO any RC or ARC would have only base levels in Soldier, plus specialization levels like Tech or Pilot.

TC's might have levels in Thug, but I'd likely stat them as straight Soldiers, perhaps with lower total levels, or lacking the ability to branch out into specialty classes that separate the RC & ARC from the masses.

    Moin Moin,

every Clone Soldier is born, bred and engineered to be a soldier - but they've all thug-levels. With four levels in heroic class they're smarter and tougher when a mid-level clone trooper.

And instead the arc-troopers, they're the same template-modification.
