Speculation on the upcoming movies, one game in Roleplay that's pretty promising.

It's time to spread the Holonet word around the social networks, hopefully we'll see more traffic hereabouts.

"What's this I see in my Gmail Spam folder?"
"A message from the Holonet wishing me a happy birthday after 13 years?" (Sure, I caught it about 2 weeks late, clicking on Spam just for a whim.)
"Do I still remember that password? I do!"
"Is Star Wars still a thing?"
"That's life. Or not, in your case."

It'd better be, or you'll be running laps around the Server Farm carrying the Disney flag. :p

It took a happy birthday email to remind me of this wonderful place. A lot of great memories here, and nice to see coldskier and Vanger still hanging about. Anyone see Ronin lately? Been missing everyone from the olden days here.

A democratic body, a senate, not being able to function properly because everybody's squabbling, there's corruption."

I haven't seen Ronin, not sure if he's active on another site like D20Radio or just busy with RL - job, wife...maybe younglings.

A few others are still about, like Ash DuQuennes, GMJabreson, and Terras. I've talked at Ris, she's very busy and not likely be around much.

Hey all, I've got some people looking to register on the site and apparently registration is closed? Any way to get around that?

    Cheers!

It shouldn't be closed. Let me know if they are getting error messages or what exactly the problem is. Sometimes people just don't know how to get around the stringent sign up process (used to keep the mega-spammers to a minimum).

It's saying that registration has been closed by the admin. I even tried to do it and couldn't.

I obviously lack the ability to turn it back on. BUT I believe I can still create accounts. So if you get the following information from the people you want to sign up, I should be able to create accounts for them.

    1. Name they wish to go by on the Holonet
    2. Valid email address that they check
    3. Password they want to use for initial log on (they can change it later if they desire)

If you can collect that information and then email it to me, I can set up their accounts.

Then I can check with Moridin about the "closed" registration message.

Maybe the forum issue we had last year is still going on in that the accounts (new) can't be done.
You cannot dodge it if you don't know it is coming, and you cannot shoot at what you don't know is there!
