    I would have preferred that the EU prior to the start of the NJO would have been considered canon, but alas it was not to be.

    Agreed. I thoroughly enjoyed Wraith Squadron as IMHO some of the best post-ROTJ stories available. Things degraded fairly quickly after that to the IMHO squalid state of the NJO.

    But there is hope. Some thoroughly Epic stories can now be done with the likes of Admirals Pellaeon, Rogriss, and Thrawn, possibly even Iceheart without the significant Canon-and-Continuity restrictions in place by the Lucas EU.

    I've always felt that Lusankya was a thinly-veiled reference to the old Soviet Lubyanka Gulag.

    I won't miss most of the EU. Zahn, Stackpole, and Allston will likely remain canon to me, and Daley is IMO at least twice as canon as the prequels.
