Fishing for ideas...
We're restarting our Imperial campaign in a couple of months and I'm looking for some ideas and plot hooks. The players are in a Special Missions Imperial army unit and it's a year or so before the battle of Yavin, which is roughly when they'll defect to the Alliance. Anyone got some ideas?

May i ask why you are running it where they aer imperials, if you know they are going to defect? Why not just kick it down the time frame till they already have?

Do the players know that their characters are all going to defect? This may drastically change recommendations.

Dirt-laced dust. Probably originating from the ground.
How is it 'exploring the other side' if you are already planning on them defecting from the empire to the rebellion?

They do know that'll defect, they just don't know how or when. There will be a tipping point in the future. We planned it from the beginning.Originally Posted by coldskier0320
Wolverine, the story takes them from being part of the order to rebelling against that order and beyond. Exploring how it can happen and why people turn is a story in itself. It also brings a very different play style I find - access to all sorts of resources, being a small part in the machine, bringing law and order, etc.
