sorry again folks, I forgot about posting, was busy with a large mini tourney going on here. Couple of my neighbors wanted to get a game going, they made a mistake of wanting "large scale operations". Instead of basing it off of "Squad generation points," they went off a "100 character deck." like it was a Magic Tourney or something, lol.
So, My 100 "Character" Deck: Boba, Bossk, Boushh, Dengar, IG88, 4 LOM, Vader, Palpatine, Mara Jade, Veers, 4 Imperial Officers, AT-AT, 2 AT-ST's, and the rest were stormtroopers of various types.
I have a short week this week, tomorrow is my only day of classes. I will get an IC post up as soon as I get done checking if any of my classes for next semester that I still need to get have been added so I can get them.
On a side note, I've got all my christmas shopping done, lol.

Man, I can only imagine the looks on their faces when they saw the AT-AT...

when I pulled that thing out, there were less vulgarities in a Anti-Vietnam War protest, lol. The best one was when someone showed up with a snowspeeder and I blew it out of the sky before he could do a "tow cable" maneuver. Gotta love those Heavy Stormtroopers (I have about a dozen myself), lol. It was a great set up, about 20 stormtroopers for Veers, another 20 for Vader, another set for Mara Jade, 8 Royal Guards to defend the Emperor, A Nightsister Sith Witch, another 20 stormies with an Imperial Officer, then the bounty hunters to kill off all their "Unique" characters. They were thankful we didn't play for anything but fun, lol.
The funniest part was the fact that I still had Stormtroopers not used, I have so many of them. I have over 100 stormtroopers, so I definately can deploy the "Blizzard Force" if I had enough walkers and AT-ST's. Might just do that with that site with the Cardboard cutout walkers, lol.
But I'll try to read up and catch up with the game tomorrow after I get back from my afternoon class and get something posted to everyone's delight.
I hope everyone is ready to come in that is still waiting, cause you'll be in before the turkey is put in the oven, lol.

Wow, very impressive. Nice to see another Edimark. If I may ask...the picture, was it done in Poser?

Thx guys
Admiral Zaarin , I wish I had the time to do one up in Poser. And likely I wouldn't have had that interesting of a hair style. Its an awesome program though.
So... its a screencap, but from what game? And of course some photoshop layer filtering i applied.
Anyone notice anything unusually similar about the datapad? guess it correctly and ya get a virtual e-cigar

Interestingly enough, up until a week or so ago, that's how I did my hair. Poser's a good program, but unfortunately I don't have the money for anything that isn't free... With M3 and V3 being free, models aren't so much an issue as MATs and clothes...

Well Zaarin - subscribe to their newsletter, and keep an eye in their new and promotions section... Late october they gave away their Studio program ver 1.7 (with the serial key), a nice big starter pack, etc and have been dolling out randomly select products each week. I've been stocking up
Yeah - clothing and props sofar and still have been on the shy side for SCI-FI. It has been that way for the last several years, save for a few independant talented people like PhilC and Dodger (PhilC has a Twi'lek model for v1 or v2 that's got a Lekku headset usable on the newer Victorias )... The Poser community primarily has been modern & fantasy oriented but finally at last, theres been a slow but growing user base of sci-fi. And i'm not talking about useless random sci-fi bits that'd be more at home in a cheesy sci-fi B-movie.
Aside from the Twi'lek model that's free, you can make Zeltron, Lorridian, Miraluka, Chiss, Zabrack (with a bit of creativity) species for SW and sadly thats about it. I'd love if there were more sw species handmade - rodian, sullustan, wookie, etc.
Check this out - -= RG2 home: Locations Bouncie's Basement =- . Click on Bouncie's Basement, i've got 4 Twi'leks posing
And btw, you can mock-up zabrack skin pattern by playing around in an image editor, loading up the skin texture and tinting it and applying a filter on it like Stained Glass or something.
On the flipside, theres also a Poser Startrek fanbase out there. I've got face morphs for Klingon, Vulcan and Bajoran species. Even made a hybrid Klingon/Bajoran character for a game that didn't pan out.

Christmas Shopping? I haven't even thought of doing that.
Huh...Now that you say that, I feel much worse. I have so many people to thank. Yeesh, you really know how to burst a guy's bubble!

Well, I said I would get to it, I still need some intel from people on somethings, and I'll create a new post once I get those. Sorry Paladine, I will edit immediately, I forgot to finish what I was going to do for Bothar'el....
Ok, I also promised an updated map with the towns. That is now finally done. I hate school and how much it delays me from the thinks I would rather be doing.....
