Timeframe is shortly after the Battle of Endor, but before the Rebel Alliance becomes the New Republic.

Excellent-- thanks. I'm going to make Thokar a veteran of Hoth, who served in several campaigns afterward. That ought to keep it "generic" enough to fit into whatever you have in mind.

I hate one tracked minds. I need to get busy on other things, but keep getting pulled into drawing up things instead of working on STAT blocks for some players.

Ris , should get an email later tonight with what I've been promising. Just been busy, you know me.

Is September 1st a good starting date for everyone? I could go earlier if everyone gets characters sent in in time.

Just asking if that will work because I've got alot going on later this month, with special doctors for my son, home visit, and the final court hearing on something (unfortunately it's not my divorce, as much as I wish), all in the same week. Divorce will come later this year, and will be a blessing when that's all over.

Depending on how things go with this, I might consider making a campaign later, if there's interest to continue.

If it helps anyone, here's the Excel sheet I used to develop the stats. I'm no d6 expert, but I have created many many Excel databases to create RPG stats.

Keep in mind: this one is specifically designed to work up a character for this game, given the character creation parameters the GM specified. It won't work for general d6 character builds. I offer it "as-is," but I'm willing to help out any players of this game that are still working up stats.

Several things to note:

1. After you download the attachment, you must change the file extension from ".txt" to ".xls"; this is because the HoloNet only accepts certain kinds of attachments, and I didn't want to "zip" it.

2. The cell shading generally tells you whether you should type in in it.
- white cells are where you should enter data.
- grey cells are calculation cells, and you shouldn't type in them.
- yellow cells are drop-down lists, where you have to select from a list of values.
- blue cells are titles; you generally shouldn't overwrite them.

3. The cell near the bottom titled "SIMPLE STAT BLOCK" is suitable for posting to the HoloNet. Just copy-and-paste this cell to a forum post or to a Notepad document to see a simple html version of your statblock.

I don't claim this is a perfectly designed solution, but it works very well for me, and lets me generate clean and accurate d6 stat-blocks very quickly. YMMV.

Been giving myself a crash course intro into d6 char creation. Seems almost simple enough, just to get the hang of it.

Will get my character done hopefully tonight.... That xls generation sheet might help things. Though I'm going for a Togorian, so , might have to adjust a couple starting values there.

Ok, I think I understand the character creation rules. will see what i can come up with... Looks like I only have GG4 1st ed. alien races, hopefully it'll work out... Biggest question will be about the attribute dice.

If I understand it correctly, its 12D stock for attributes, tho players get an extra 6D to spend on attribs be it humans or non humans, is that correct??? - page 212.. And out of a 75 pf buy, it costs 4 pts per pip increase, or 12pts per 1D .... later attrib increases are 10x the number before the D per pip...

Stats should be posted soon

I thought it was 3 of us players ala 4 PCs for the most part (unless theres anyone else joining).

Or are we talking about each having dual PC'S? I suppose going dual PC's would keep the player number smaller, which isn't a bad thing

Notes: Carul, known to his friends as "CJ", grew up in the neighborhood of Ganton, located in the city of Las Santos, on the planet San Andreas, as part of a local street gang. During his youth, he's been in enough brawls, shoot-outs, and drive-by's to know how to handle himself in a fight. His father died when he was young, and he was in his late teens when his mother was killed under mysterious circumstances, drawing him back to his old neighborhood, where he reunited with the remnants of the Grove Street Families gang that he was once part of, under the leadership of his older brother, "Sweet". Irritated at how the other local gangs were over-running the city, he stuck around long enough to help is brother rebuild the gang and take back control of their gang's former territory, and try looking after the well-being of their sister Kendyl. In the process, he managed to build up a reputation for himself, but he also gained a lot of unwanted attention from the local authorities by the time the neighborhood was once again under their control. Knowing how much trouble Carul would be facing by staying around, Sweet helped CJ to get enough money to buy a used ship so that CJ could safely get off the planet.

Over the next few years, after leaving his homeworld, working as a freelance cargo hauler/smuggler, Carul traveled around in his modified Porsimo Industries GC-8A60 medium freighter, the Schternvart, making delivery runs for a living. For the right credits, he'll transport just about anything that can fit in his cargo bays anywhere within reason. Due to spending most of his time in transit between pick-ups & deliveries, he keeps everything he owns aboard his ship, usually, if he finds he needs an item or weapons he doesn't own, he'll procure one from the nearest available source. When he's not on a run, he spends his downtime hanging around the starport of the planet where he made his last delivery, either checking to see if there's anybody looking to hire a ship, checking to see if any bounties are on his head, or checking up on the latest racing updates.

One day, during a stop-over on Stend VI after the completion of a delivery run, Carul found himself being hired by a Herglic named Kaylo NaKuda to make a delivery to a Hutt in a neighboring star system. What CJ didn't know was that he was going to be discreetly delivering a slave to the Hutt. When the slave named Sil Vaturha was delivered to his ship, she was bound and gagged in a large duffel, to conceal the nature of the package CJ was hired to deliver. During the short hyperspace flight, Carul was double-checking some other cargo in the same cargo bay when he heard muffled sounds from the duffel. Knowing that he shouldn't be doing so, he fetched a drink from his ship's galley and opened the bag, discovering the young Twi'lek girl. Reaching for the gag in her mouth, he warned her there was no point in screaming since there was nobody else on board, and that he was just giving her something to drink. Once he felt she had enough, he took the rest of the water away and replaced the gag, then closed her back in the duffel, despite her muffled screams. He returned to his ship's galley to grab himself a drink, and found himself feeling sorry for her predicament and realized that he couldn't go through with this delivery.

Returning to the cargo bay, he freed her from the duffel and proceeded to untie her and removed her gag. He spent the next few minutes inquiring about the terms of her enslavement to NaKuda, learning about her mechanical skills in the process. Realizing that her skills as a mechanic could be useful to him, Carul offered not to deliver her to the Hutt if, in return for her freedom, she'd stay aboard the ship with him as his ship's mechanic. He also offered her one share of the profits as pay, while he would take two shares, one as the ship's owner, and one as the pilot. Thinking over his offer, and the fact that she had nowhere else to go, the young Twi'lek girl agreed to his terms. Over the course of the next few weeks, CJ was glad he made her the offer, as she managed to improve the Schternvart's overall performance by fifteen percent. At the same time, they started to feel a slight attraction to each other as well.

Over the next few years, their relationship blossomed into a full-blown romance, and they became both lovers and partners. They also wound up doing enough jobs for the Alliance that they eventually sign on as privateers for the Alliance, where they wind up working with SpecForce.

Notes: Sil was orphaned at a young age and left to fend for herself on the mean streets of Corellia. The young girl soon found herself sold into slavery and was eventually purchased by Kaylo NaKuda, where she was put to work as the top mechanic in the Herglic's Garage on Stend VI. Sil is a quiet, introspective soul who loves working and tinkering with machines. Over the years, she has developed her natural talent into real proficiency.

When a Hutt in the neighboring system contacted NaKuda to collect a debt the Herglic owed, the Hutt gave him few choices: pay up in credits, or give one of his most prized slaves to the Hutt as compensation. Lacking the funds, NaKuda had little choice but give Sil to the Hutt, clearing his debt. Because NaKuda kept his slaves in his garage hidden and secret from the public, he had to arrange a discreet delivery to the Hutt, so he hired the smuggler Carul "CJ" Janson to discreetly transport Sil to the Hutt.

However, the delivery didn't go quite as planned: Carul discovered the contents of the package he was delivering was none other than Sil, and found he couldn't deliver an innocent being into slavery. Instead of making the delivery, he offered her freedom, and a job as his ship's mechanic. Suddenly finding herself a free being with nowhere else to go, Sil agreed to CJ's terms. During the next few weeks, she managed to increase his ship's performance by fifteen percent, and they both started to develop an attraction towards each other.

She enjoys the company of machines and droids more than most living beings, who have often treated her cruelly, but the more time she spends in the company of Carul, the more she begins to overcome her mistrust of people. She also learns new skills during her time with Carul, and as their relationship develops, she takes on further shipboard responsibilities, eventually becoming CJ's partner and lover.

Notes:
The twin laser turret is turret mounted to provide full 360 degrees fire for better protection. A small blaster cannon drops down from a concealed compartment near the boarding ramp for anti-personnel defense when entering or leaving the ship or to repel boarders while grounded. Two Dual Concussion Missile Launchers are installed in the front of the ship behind retractable panels.

The exterior has been upgraded with additional layers of quadanium plating over the main engines, hyperdrive boosters, port and starboard service covers, life support service covers, and rear shield projector. Of the three main engines, the center one was removed to make space for a small hangar bay that was added to the ship's aft section between the two remaining main engines. The main engineering room is cramped with upgraded ion drives and hyperdrives.The forward half of the ship houses upgraded ion maneuvering thrusters and larger more powerful sensors. A second weapon charging system was added to increase the recharge rate for the weapon systems. Upgraded avionics package computers were added to help manage the weaponry.

Any items that are smuggled are stowed away in any free space within the ship's systems (ie crammed into the empty space in the maintenance crawlspaces) and in scanner-proof smuggling compartments. Items that require refrigeration or freezing are loaded into the temperature-controlled cargo hold and any items that must be kept warm are loaded into a heated cargo hold. Any fragile items are well-secured and heavily padded for protection during transit.

A new transponder with fresh ID codes was installed when Carul and Sweet purchased the ship.
