Truce at Bakura takes place right after RotJ.

As boccelounge said, the book directly after RotJ is Truce at Bakura.

I have found a thread (admittedly a few years old) that details the order of the post-RotJ books, and "stuck" it to the top of the page (so it will appear within a couple of threads of this one). It's called "EU Novels?", and I've put a link to it here .

Post It's like Empire and stuff...

I went with Star by Star in the end. Though I haven't read all of them (just started The Final Prophesy), it was a toss up. SbS was damn good--it made me feel like I was watching Empire all over again with even more surprises (Anakin and Coruscant). But it was a difficult decision. I liked the second half of Dark Tide: Ruin--the defense of Ithor was pretty cool, up to and including Corran's duel with Shedao Shai. Of course, the revelations pertaining to the Vergere's view of the Force was amazing. But neither of them genereated that nostalgic Star Wars feel quite like Star By Star.

Think about it, what if Spider-Man became a Jedi?

Star by Star was great. It was surprising, harrowing and emotionally gripping, something a Star Wars book has never done to me.

Traitor, as stated before was great because it actually expanded the literary horizons of the Star Wars mythos. Maybe or not whatever theory presented was true, but the way in which it was written really switched up the gears from the 'chock full of action and blasters' approach on Star Wars and really made the reader think about something. It was something else.

Enemy lines and dark tide are the four best books. Norm Anor was the best villan, using anything and everything to his advantage.

Man I just finished Rebel Dream...and damn!!! It was one of the best in the series. Wedge...the man who couldn't loose even if he tried and Wedge, the man who built the inner circle.

God I love Wedge more now.

My best part of that duology was when they were forming the 'inner circle..'//

    Thumbs up

I liked the NJO. All of them. Except for two deaths, which were in the end necessary.(SADLY. WRONG SOLO!) I really like the grit they brough back into Star Wars. Luke doesn't whine, Mara isn't the end all be all of assasins, still a bad momma jamba, but all in all. Nice to see things go in a good direction. Oh ya, the Praetorite Vong are simply the best suprise VIllain in years.

Fr' me the best one was the first one, Vector Prime even though Salvator got crucified due to it (he didn't kill Chewie people, Lukas did). But I liked the arc overall, what I liked about it was that it was a time that the Jedi simply couldn't use their force-powers since, as far as the force was concerned, the Vong weren't there. They were on as equal footing with the Vong as non-force users were, a pity they didn't really play out the "we're on equal footing" angle as much as I'd have liked.

It was a triple tie between Star by Star, Destiny's Way, and the Unifying Force, but I had to choose one. Of all NJO books, Destiny's Way I read the most. I should say of the entire EU +movie books. I don't think it gets better than Ackbar's return. The NR managed to get off its first major victory because Ackbar came out of retirement, if only for that one crucial battle. Of course, I was happy when Vergere died.

Star by Star because Anakin Solo died, Jaina kicks some Vong butt with force lightening, even though she did it out of anger, and like TarlSS said, it was emotionally gripping.

The Unifying Force because, sadly, Ackbar dies. That was the part that got to me....sorry if I mentioned any spoilers, but I think its common knowledge. And of course, the end ot Vong war which had changed everybody and some not for the good.

Destiny's Way is still my favorite!!!
